reading period

I am officially on my last ever winter break starting at 1pm this Tuesday, after my final exam of the semester. Yipppeee!!! SO excited to sleep, exercise, and most of all read! I have a book list about a mile long, mostly consisting of memoir, fiction, and short story genres (like this and that). And yes, I am that person who always buys books as Christmas gifts... will share those exact details after Christmas, of course!

Got any suggestions for my to-read list? I usually tell my friends at business school to read Keith Ferrazzi's Never Eat Alone and for all who love a good memoir to crack open Jeannette Walls' The Glass Castle. Happy reading dolls!

  1. Yes! Books are the best gifts (to give and receive)! I haven't read them yet but my long Christmas wishlist includes: Freedom - Jonathan Franzen and Skippy Dies - Paul Murray! Stephen's Day (the 26th!) is the perfect day for reading and eating leftovers!

  2. I'm woefully out of the reading loop, but here are some good Frenchie reads:
