a poem about change

new identity

unfeeling our feelings from pills
at night we put our eyes in a case

as often as a girl sleeps with man
like stale words fed by machine

mistakenly lips collide with needle
while you grow your hair from a can

our babies arrived not by stork
but the personalization of science.

  1. you have -such- a gift with words
    I love:
'at night we put our eyes in a case'
and 'while you grow your hair from a can'

you tackled a subject that a lot of people write about, but did it in a really refreshing you way
