DvF soiree

Today I had the wonderful opportunity to mingle with bright young women in media and communications at the Diane von Furstenberg showroom in the Meatpacking district. We sipped champagne, tried on clothes, and bit (not so) daintily into hors d'oeuvres and Godiva chocolate. Most excitingly, we listened to Candace Bushnell (author of Sex & the City and Lipstick Jungle ) speak on her experiences in the city and advice on careers and life. I was a little nervous at first, having arrived alone, but it was a great time and I met so many lovely girls (Facebook me!). I only wish I walked away with some DvF apparel! Tempting, tempting.
